- Do you offer price matching?
We certainly want your business, so we will do what we can to match a price when possible. Please bear in mind that each year there are price increases and we cannot always match the price of a product another merchant may have had in their inventory for a long time, like if they have an old price or a clearance price, then we obviously might not be able to match that price because we would lose money and if we did that every day, then we would go out of business. Best thing to do is to just ask us, and provide us with a valid link to the item you are inquiring about so we can verify the information. If we can get your business, we will do so if we can.
- How long will it take for my order to ship out?
Some orders may ship out the same day or next day provided it is not a special order item and is currently in stock. Some items may take 4-6 weeks if they are a custom order. If you need it by a certain date, please ask first before ordering to ensure that you receive your item in time. Expedited shipping may be necessary in that case. Just let us know and we will do what we can to ensure you get your order in time for any special events.
- I am looking for a particular item and can't find it on your web site, do you carry additional items, or can they be special ordered?
Yes, we do have more items than are listed on this site. All you have to do is drop us a line and let us know what you are looking for, and we will let you know if we can get it to you.
- What if I ordered the wrong size, can I return it?
We highly encourage you to be very careful in ordering your skates and equipment because many items cannot be returned. If you have a question about sizing, it is best to get those questions answered before ordering.
Some items may be returned, but only with pre-authorization and restocking fees will be applied to returns - $5.00 per box - plus 25% restocking fee. Items cannot be returned once they have been worn or used or if the box has been marked in any way.
You will be responsible for return shipping back to our warehouse and then for another item to be shipped back to you.
Custom ordered mounted skates CANNOT be returned. Alternatively, you can utilize the Paypal's Money Back Guarantee services for items that you want peace of mind about buying.
Additionally, no skates can be returned for any reason that have been skated on.
- Can you ship to a Post Office Box?
Our shipping provider is UPS, they do not deliver to PO Boxes, only physical addresses.
- Can I have an exact shipping quote for my order?
This can be done, but only if you contact us first. If you process your order through our shopping cart with automatic shipping charges, we cannot adjust the shipping amount. We will calculate your total with shipping and tax if applicable and provide you with an invoice for your order instead of using the shopping function of the web site. We offer this service because often times people may live closer and may be able to save money on shipping, those who live farther away from us will also pay the correct shipping, it just costs more to ship farther away.
- How can I figure out my size?

- How can I place my order?
We are currently taking orders by phone or email and will invoice you for your order via email. You may call Sheri at (770) 888-8290 Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm EST, or you can send an email any time 24 hours a day info@shop4skates.com .We process all orders individually and will calculate shipping charges to be more accurate, so if you live closer, you will pay less for shipping. Additionally, we check inventory and see if your item is in stock before you place your order, we don't do back orders like other retailers do, they hold onto your money for months while you have no merchandise.
- How can I order a custom skate? I want to build my own skate.
Choose your boot, plate or frame, wheels, bearings, toe stops and add the charge for mounting the plate or frame and there you have it, your own custom built skate. If you need assistance in the process, please consult with us and we will be more than happy to help you with putting your dream skate together.

Do you ship internationally?
We have been advised to not do business outside of the US & Canada because of the threat of fraudulent business transactions from outside of the continent. Additionally, we have also experienced packages not arriving to their destination and we absolutely cannot do business that way. So at this time we are not considering international orders. If you have a way to ensure your funds are authentic, we might possibly consider your potential order, there is also the issue of increased shipping fees, since our main shipping vendor is UPS, you might already know that their fees are very high for international shipping.
- Where are you located?
We do not have a physical store you can visit, all orders are shipped regardless of where you are located. You can call or email with your questions before ordering.
If you require to try on skates before deciding what you are going to buy and you live in the local Atlanta, GA area, we highly recommend you visit your nearest roller skating rink and see if they have a pro shop that sells and stock roller skates. We do not offer such a service to our customers, however we try to assist as much as possible to ensure the proper fit before you place your order.
